Why I Created This Community for You

Hi, my name is Carolina Barchuk. I’m from Argentina but I’ve been living in Costa Rica since 2021. I’m a certified English and Spanish teacher with over 15 years of experience in education. In the last 5 years, I’ve specialized in teaching Spanish to adults aged 60+.

Throughout these years, I’ve realized that, despite the enthusiasm to learn, older adults often face challenges when it comes to finding opportunities to practice the language. I also noticed how important it is to approach teaching in a way that builds confidence and adapts to their needs.

That’s why I created this community: a place where we can learn together, practice, and connect without pressure, creating a space where everyone feels supported. Here, you’re not just learning a language, you’re also building confidence and making new friends.
